Registration Questions
When is the deadline to register?
Early registration ends January 30th, and advance registration ends March 6th. On-site registration will be available, however we encourage you to register early as we anticipate that the conference will sell out. Prices
I am having problems with online registration. What should I do?

I need to use a purchase order to pay for registration. What is your Tax ID number? Who should I contact for assistance?
To register with a purchase order, please download the registration form (doc) and return it to Emily Becker, emily@foodsecurity.org. Our Tax ID # is 06-1495135. If you need further assistance to complete your purchase order, please contact Emily at (503) 954-2970.
I need financial assistance to attend. Do you offer scholarships?
Yes, we do offer some scholarships. Please read more about them on our Scholarship page.
Can I register for just one day?
No, we are not offering single-day rates. To ease the burden on our administrative staff, please register at the full rate and consider the rest a donation to CFSC.
I am a presenter at a workshop. Do I need to register? If so, how do I register?
We need every presenter to register so that we know when to expect you and how to reach you if we have any questions. You will register online using a code we provide to you to receive your discount. You will receive an email with registration instructions. If you have not received an email from us, please contact marion [at] foodsecurity.org .
Can I sign up for a field trip, short course or Tuesday evening reception if I’m not planning on coming to the main conference?
Yes. You can use our online registration form or mail-in form, just leave the section regarding the conference registration blank and indicate which event(s) you plan to attend.
I need to cancel - what is your cancellation policy?
No refunds for cancellations are possible after March 6. No exceptions. Refunds requested prior to March 6 will be charged a $50 refund fee. Please contact emily@foodsecurity.org to request a refund.

Are you still accepting workshop proposals?
No, however there are a few other options for you to share your work with others. Presentation Opportunities
I am looking for a roommate or ride. How can I reach others going to the conference who might be able to help?
You can use the online bulletin board to coordinate rides, room sharing, and other logistics with other conference attendees. Go to the Bulletin Board.
Are there tables available for me to display information about my group/company?
Yes. Please download the table application form (doc) to sign up for a table.
How can I get a press pass for the conference?
Please fill out the Press Pass Request Form (doc) and return it to aleta@foodsecurity.org.
Once approved, we will send you information on how to register as a member of the press.
Can I volunteer at the conference?
All of our volunteer shifts have been filled. We are keeping a waiting list in case we add more shifts or a volunteer cancels. To get on the waiting list, send an email to farmtocafeteriavolunteers@gmail.com with the Subject Line: WAITLIST and in the body, please include your name, email, and phone number.
Will there be childcare at the conference?
No, however we would be happy to refer you to some childcare options in the area. Please contact aleta@foodsecurity.org for referrals.
Is it possible for conference participants to receive Continuing Education Credit?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer credit for the conference.
Will recordings of the conference be available after the conference?
We plan to provide videos of the plenaries and keynote lectures. We also plan to collect Powerpoint presentations from the presenters which will be posted online after the conference.
