When is the deadline to register?
Registration opened May 7 and will close July 13. Early bird registration ended June 15.  Short

courses, field trips, and reception sign-up will be available at the time of registration for additional fees. Additional information will be available soon.

Are sponsorships still available?
Yes! Please see our Sponsorship page for more information. For inclusion in our program, please contact us no later than June 4.

I’m looking for a roommate/someone to carpool with. How can I connect with other attendees?
We are excited to integrate social networking into our conference this year by using a service called CrowdVine that allows conference attendees to build  community during and after the conference. Using the forum online, attendees can easily find a carpool, coordinate conference schedules, plan meet-ups and find other attendees after the event. Once you register for the conference, you will be invited to join our CrowdVine page.

You can also join our Facebook event for conference updates and to connect with other attendees. Post roommate/carpool requests on the event wall.

Are you still accepting workshop proposals?
The deadline for submitting workshop proposals was March 7. We are in the process of finalizing workshop details and will have more information available soon.

Who is your media contact? How do I get a press pass?
Contact Chelsey Simpson via email or phone (405-684-7608) for all press inquiries. To apply for a press pass, fill out this form and email it to Chelsey Simpson no later than July 13. Press passes will include access to all main conference events and meals on Aug. 3-5 with the exception of the Northeast Reception and the Local Foods Reception, which you are welcome to attend with the purchase of a ticket. Passes for field trips and short courses taking place on Aug. 2 can be purchased separately as well. Some exceptions will be made – please tell us if the story you have planned requires access to these special events.

Can I receive Continuing Education Credits for attending the conference?
Continuing education credits will be offered through the School Nutrition Association, American Dietetica Association and National Education Association. More details will be available soon. We can offer 6 SNA Certification Continuing Education Units for attending all workshop sessions.

Is the conference suitable for children and teenagers? What about the field trips and other events?
The conference is not designed with a youth audience in mind. If you are interested in registering someone under the age of 18, please contact Vera Simon-Nobes via email for more information. Although they are designed to be enjoyable, our field trips are also serious education opportunities for conference attendees, and children cannot attend.  See the Location and Travel page for more information about family-friendly activities in the Burlington area.

Will there be childcare at the conference?
No, however we would be happy to refer you to some childcare options in the area. Please contact Vera Simon-Nobes via email for referrals.

Are conference t-shirts and other merchandise available?
Yes! You will have the option to purchase a t-shirt or tote bag  during the registration process. A limited number of shirts and totes will also be avaiable for purchase at the conference. Here’s what they will look like.
