When is the registration deadline? 
As of March 19, REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. We have reached our maximum registration capacity of 1,000 conference attendees, so we are unable to accept additional registrations at this time. We are grateful for this unprecedented level of interest in the National Farm to Cafeteria Conference, but we also regret that we can’t accept additional attendees. If you would like to be placed on our wait list, please fill out the registration form.

 

Do you have a list of all conference attendees? 
Yes! We are happy to offer this downloadable list of contact information for all registered conference attendees as of April 1. We hope you can use this list to reach out to attendees you hope to connect with in person or follow up with after the event.

 

What is the price of registration?
Registration is closed. Conference registration rates were:

  • Early-bird rate (deadline March 4): $350
  • Regular rate: $400
  • One day rate: $170
  • Half-day rate (Friday only): $80

These prices do not include the cost of lodging, travel, field trips or short courses offered on April 15, or the South Region Reception. Lodging information and prices can be found here.

 

Will you offer scholarships to cover the cost of registration? 
A limited number of scholarships were available. The scholarship application is now CLOSED. See our scholarships page for details.

 

Can I volunteer at the conference? 
We expect all of our volunteer needs to be met by scholarship recipients. Scholarship recipients are required to commit to at least one, 4-hour volunteer shift during the conference. If you are interested in volunteering without receiving scholarship funds or other compensation, please contact Tracey Starkovich (tracey@farmtoschool.org / 630-207-3855).

 

Are you still accepting workshop proposals?
No, the deadline to submit proposals has passed, and all presenters have been selected and finalized.

 

Where is the conference hotel? Is there a room block set up? 
The Hilton Austin hotel is situated in downtown Austin, Texas and will be the site of most conference events as well as the location where most attendees will stay. However the Hilton Austin is full and no longer accepting reservations. Several overflow hotel options are listed on our lodging page as well as other hotel details.

 

Who is your media contact? How do I get a press pass?

How can I find someone to share a room with at the conference? 
There is no formal room mate matching service in place for the conference, but we suggest posting on the conference event page on Facebook.

 

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options at the conference? 
Considerable effort will be made to accommodate all dietary needs: vegetarian, vegan, kosher and gluten-free options will be available. Visit the Food page for updates as menus are finalized. I need to ship materials to the conference hotel. What is the address? 
Presenters, sponsors and attendees are responsible for all of their own shipping costs. Please download this PDF of shipping instructions for more information about shipping to the Hilton Austin.

 

How can I obtain a receipt/invoice/updated copy of my registration records? 
You should be able to change your payment type, add a payment or get your receipt/invoice through a link in your registration confirmation emails. If you click on View or Change Registration from the email, it will take you to another page where the registrant information will be listed towards the bottom. Next to that information is a link that says “change your registration.” It will ask for the login information created with the registration, and then you should see how you can edit any information from the registration.
